Nature house in Warmsen

I stayed there for a week in September. Even though it was already starting to get cooler, I really enjoyed my time there. The outdoor shower was still perfectly usable (it has hot water), and there’s a heater in the cottage. Although the house is quite compact, I never felt “cooped up” inside. It has windows on every side, and the sun can shine in at any time of day. The sleeping berths are also outstanding, by the way. I always looked forward to reading a little there in the evenings before going to sleep. All in all, it’s simply a little cottage where you can feel right at home.

Ich war für eine Woche im September da. Obwohl es bereits langsam kühler wurde, konnte man die Zeit dort gut genießen. Die Dusche im Freien konnte man noch gut nutzen (sie hat warmes Wasser) und im Höuschen gibt es eine Heizung. Obwohl das Haus recht kompakt ist, fühlte ich mich darin nie "eingesperrt". Es hat auf jeder Seite Fenster und die Sonne kann zu jeder Tageszeit hereinscheinen. Überragend sind übrigens auch die Schlafkojen. Ich habe mich abends immer darauf gefreut, hier vor dem Schlafen noch etwas zu lesen. Insgesamt einfach ein Häuschen, in dem man sich wohlfühlen kann.

The property is located in an area with plenty of farmland and farms. The cottage itself is on the site of a former farm. Although it’s no longer in operation, there are still plenty of animals there. In addition to horses, there are some smaller animals: dogs, cats, chickens, and geese, all of which roam freely on the grounds. My favorites were the geese, who constantly patrol the grounds like two sheriffs, making sure everything is in order :)
In addition to the blue cottage (“Amboss”), there are other smaller accommodations on the property that may also be occupied. However, the grounds are so large that this isn’t a problem, and you can always enjoy some peace and quiet.
The surrounding area consists mostly of fields rather than forests. Still, I enjoyed just setting out on a hike. To the northwest of there are several marshes—they’re wonderful for hiking. Given the distance, though, it’s best to get there by bike or car first.

Das Areal liegt in einer Gegend mit vielen Landwirtschaftsflächen und -betrieben. Das Häuschen selbst befindet sich auf einem ehemaligen Bauernhof. Dort wird zwar nicht mehr "gewirtschaftet", doch gibt es dort zahlreiche Tiere. Neben Pferden gibt es einige kleinere Tiere: Hunde, Katzen, Hühner und Gänse, die alle frei auf dem Gelände unterwegs sind. Meine Favoriten waren die Gänse, die unentwegt wie zwei Sheriffs patrouillieren und nach dem Rechten sehen :)
Auf dem Areal gibt es neben dem blauen Häuschen ("Amboss") noch weitere kleinere Unterkünfte, die ebenfalls belegt sein können. Das Gelände ist jedoch so groß, dass das nicht stört und man immer seine Ruhe haben kann.
In der umliegenden Gegend gibt es eher Felder als Wälder. Ich fand es dennoch schön, einfach loszuwandern. Im Norwesten von dort gibt es mehrere Moore. Da lässt es sich wunderbar wandern. Von der Entfernung her sollte man dorthin jedoch zunächst mit dem Rad oder dem Auto fahren.

Nice landlord, always friendly and helpful. Found everything as described. The outdoor shower is great and can be used even in cooler weather. You have everything you need. The stairs to the bed are a bit steep and not so easy due to the narrow steps, but you can manage that well with a little practice ;) I think it's a good alternative between a vacation apartment/house and camping.

Nette Vermieter, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles wie beschreiben vorgefunden. Die Aussendusche ist toll gemacht und selbst bei kühlerem Wetter noch gut nutzbar. Man hat alles was man braucht. Die Treppe zum Bett ist etwas steil und durch die schmalen Stufen nicht so einfach, aber auch das bekommt man mit etwas Übung gut hin ;) Ich finde es eine gute Alternative zwischen Ferienwohnung/-haus und Camping.

If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, this is the place for you. I was welcomed very nicely by Anke and Frank and my two dogs were no problem either. The Tinyhouse was clean and tidy and furnished as described, everything was explained and shown to me and any subsequent questions were answered without any problems. I particularly liked the bench in front of the house, where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet when the weather is nice. It was my first vacation in a tiny house and a great experience that I will definitely repeat.

Wer die absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. ich wurde sehr nett von Anke und Frank empfangen und auch meine beiden Hunde waren kein Problem. Das Tinyhouse war sauber und ordentlich und wie beschrieben eingerichtet, Mir wurde alles erklärt und gezeigt und jede spätere Frage auch ohne Probleme beantwortet. Besonders toll fand ich die Bank vor dem Häuschen, auf der man bei schönen Wetter gut sitzen und die Stille genießen kann. Es war mein erster Urlaub in einem Tinyhouse und eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich bestimmt wiederholen werde.
