The house stands in a beautiful diverse forest. The private plot of 1 hectare is located in a protected nature reserve the "Needse berg. A bit of a hidden gem with many hiking trails. Very beautiful house that had everything we needed. Wies had the house warm for us when we arrived and it stayed that way for our 3 night stay (we did not have to make fires in the stove ourselves, which wasn't clear to me until we arrived). The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to sit around the table watching the trees and birds. We had two toddlers with us and they loved the ducks and chickens, making a fire outside, and the swing. The only thing I can think of to mention is that the bedroom windows did not have curtains, so it was a little hard for our kids to fall asleep at their normal bedtime when it was still a bit light out. In the summer this might be a challenge for younger kids. Wies was friendly and happy to answer any questions we had.
