Are you looking for adventure, but with a little more comfort than a tent? Then book our new forest cabins. We’re the first in the Netherlands! We have 3 two-person forest cabins and 1 three-person forest cabin—each with its own small patio and a shared fire pit. Two single beds with cozy warm blankets and woolen hot water bottles—Stoov heated pillows—a small electric heater—dinnerware—two armchairs and a small table. Wildernis Spa with hot tub and sauna (bookable separately for a 3-hour time slot—check for availability). Want an extra special experience? Book an afternoon or evening in our Scandinavian hot tub. We rent out the hot tub in 3-hour blocks per day. We also have a sauna that you can book separately for one-hour sessions. Check out the two packages and availability on our website
Nature and surroundings
Swimming lake and the Berkel River. There’s a swimming lake across from the campground, and the Hambroek recreational lake is also within walking distance. The Berkel River is 200 meters from our campground. It’s a great spot for canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. Cooking over a wood fire For us, it’s all about getting away from it all. Enjoying the great outdoors—and that includes a campfire. There’s a fire pit by the cabin, and you can buy firewood (of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own dry wood—after all, our supply isn’t endless either). In our cupboard in the shared kitchen, you’ll find cast-iron pans so you can prepare delicious, back-to-basics meals over the campfire. We’ve put together a great recipe book for you that will be waiting in the kitchen upon your arrival. During dry periods, it’s prohibited to build a fire. Facilities: Use of the canoes, SUPs, and bicycles is included. Breakfast service: On weekends and holidays, you can order fresh rolls and coffee from us.
