Our vacation home is located in the rural village of Beemte Broekland, close to the Veluwe and the open landscape of the IJssel Valley. You can enjoy beautiful hiking and biking trips here. The charming Hanseatic towns such as Deventer, Zutphen, and Hattem—with their historic centers, shops, museums, and outdoor cafes—are fun to visit. The charming Veluwe villages of Vaassen, Epe, Twello, and Apeldoorn are nearby; here you’ll find shops (including a supermarket, bakery, drugstore, and department store) and cozy outdoor cafes. There are also many attractions nearby, such as the Paleis het Loo Museum, De Hoge Veluwe National Park, the Julianatoren Family Amusement Park, Apenheul, the Kröller-Müller Museum, recreational lakes, wellness day trips, and castles.

A lovely cottage for a short or longer stay. Of all amenities. Also very suitable for young children. Only downside in that regard is that you do not get the room with single beds properly dark, making naps a bit difficult. The cottage is nicely finished and in good condition. The owners are very attentive. For example, there were fresh flowers from the garden on the table and they had cooled the cottage for a while, so the temperature was pleasant when we arrived. Highly recommended!
Een heerlijk huisje voor een kort of langer verblijf. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook zeer geschikt voor jonge kinderen. Enige minpuntje wat dat betreft is dat je de kamer met eenpersoonsbedden niet goed donker krijgt, waardoor dutjes wat lastig zijn. Het huisje is mooi afgewerkt en in goede staat. De eigenaren zijn heel attent. Zo stonden er verse bloemen uit de tuin op tafel en hadden ze het huisje even gekoeld, zodat de temperatuur aangenaam was toen we arriveerden. Van harte aanbevolen!

Voor de echt mooie natuurwandelingen moet je even de auto pakken, maar ook rondom het huisje waan je je ver weg van het stadse leven. Er is een gezellig omheind tuintje voor eigen gebruik bij het huisje met uitzicht op veel groen. Je hoort wel wat verkeer, maar dat vonden wij niet storend.
