This beautiful eco-villa with lots of privacy and a large (heated!) pool is located on a hill amid olive groves overlooking the sea, near the village of Evangelismos in Messinia on the Peloponnese, Greece. This spacious and luxurious natural villa is fully equipped, spread over two floors with separate entrance, full air conditioning, large balcony, terrace and covered veranda. Three spacious bedrooms with luxury beds, two bathrooms and a bathtub. Third bedroom only available when booking for 6 people. Here you can enjoy the sun, the chirping of crickets, (predatory) birds, with clear blue skies during the day and at night a beautiful starry sky. Very soothing. The price includes final cleaning, bath and bed linen. Easily accessible via Kalamata, with inexpensive flights from Amsterdam and Düsseldorf. Located near the coast, with idyllic towns, beaches, harbors, many restaurants and top golf courses.
Nature and surroundings
This natural villa is a perfect base for exploring the divine Peloponnese, where classical archaeology, authentic Greek culture and varied nature blend seamlessly. Suitable for a cultural, sporting or relaxing seaside vacation, and all possible combinations in between. Great for hiking, cycling, sunbathing, swimming or golf. With the (rental) car you cover just about all the sights of the Peloponnese within two hours, including such highlights as ancient Messina, ancient Corinth and Olympia. Furthermore, along the coast you can enjoy the many beaches and towns such as Methoni, Pylos, Finikounda and Koroni, with the castle of Methoni, the marina of Pylos nearby, and the bird-rich nature reserve of the Gialova Lagoon, also called the Divari Lagoon. There you will also find Navarino Bay, known for a decisive naval battle during the Greek War of Independence on October 27, 1827.
