The cottage is a bit older and used, but in great condition and the location makes it a nice place to explore the surrounding area. We were mainly interested in canoeing, so didn't really delve into opportunities for hiking or biking

With 2 people rented the houseboat in early spring. We wanted a quiet and private place as a home base, from which we could make several trips with our own canoe, for example to Alde Faenen. First of all, the contact with the landlord was very good and we were shown around the houseboat. In addition, the location was perfect and was absolutely top, peace and quiet, pitch dark at night. We are not people who make extreme demands on luxury and appearance, but for us the houseboat offered everything we need for several days away. Fully equipped with spacious sitting room, kitchen with all the trimmings, (compact) shower/toilet and 3 bedrooms. All neat and clean. When the weather is nice you can sit in several places behind the boat or on terrace overlooking the water.
Met 2 personen de woonboot gehuurd in het vroege voorjaar. We wilde een rustige en privé plek als thuisbasis, waarvan wij met eigen kano een aantal tochten konden varen o.a. naar Alde Faenen. Allereerst was het contact met de verhuurder heel goed en werden we goed wegwijs gemaakt in de woonboot. Daarnaast voldeed de locatie en was helemaal top, rust en stilte, 's avonds pikdonker. Wij zijn geen mensen die extreme eisen aan luxe en uiterlijk stellen, maar voor ons bood de woonboot alles wat wij nodig hebben voor meerdere dagen even weg. Complete inrichting met ruime zitkamer, keuken met alles erop en eraan, (compacte) douche/toilet en 3 slaapkamers. Allemaal netjes en schoon. Bij lekker weer kan je op meerder plekken zitten achter de boot of op terras met zicht op het water.
