The location of those village tailles is the second highest in Belgium, with still the last fens (containing organized hiking trails). The rest are "just" forest massifs, rivers (Ourthe,...) and villages. Many wild animals live in the area such as deer, roe deer, wild boar, foxes, all kinds of birds and insects. You can do sports like hiking, skiing, cycling, kayaking, Gastronomy is also one of the assets of the Ardennes with local meat, fishing and of course the many local beers (La Chouffe, originally from the village of Achouffe: 7 km from the house) Are you also interested is the battle of the Ardennes of WWII? then it is also the place to be.
