A sustainable, attractive and luxurious room in a recently renovated cowshed with wide views over the countryside. The room has its own bathroom, kitchen with crockery and refrigerator, including coffee/tea, Smart TV, free WIFI and a wonderfully made 2 person box spring bed. There is a small office, covered private terrace and a terrace on the waterfront. The room has air conditioning a dining table, several chairs and an electric fireplace. Come here to relax or use the stay as a base for walking, cycling a visit to the Elfsteden or a day Wadden Islands (including Ameland, Schiermonnikoog, Texel). There is a beautiful golf course in the Groenester nature reserve. Wellness is also less than 5 minutes away. Parking is available on site and there is a charging station for electric cars. There is a general / common area at the front of the building. The room is booked without breakfast. A towel package, fresh breakfast in the room is available for a fee
Nature and surroundings
In the middle of a rural setting you will find our converted cowshed with two luxurious rooms for 2 persons each. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings, magnificent views or go out and about. For example, by bike on the ferry to nature park De Alde Feanen in Earnewald or to park Vijvers burg in Tytsjerk. Play a round of golf on the golf course near the Groene ster nature reserve or visit Aqua Zoo. Experience the beautiful Eleven Cities for culinary enjoyment or fun shopping. The casino in Leeuwarden. Also for a day on the Wadden Islands we are the perfect base. A day of Wellness is less than 5 minutes away. The train station with free parking is 10 minutes away in the village next to us. The Frisian lakes and accompanying villages offer the opportunity for a day of sailing. In short: Come and enjoy all the beauty Friesland has to offer! Welcome!
