Our wellness cottage is located in the idyllic village of Langbroek. It’s a cozy cottage with a loft bedroom, a double box-spring bed, and a spacious living room/kitchen equipped with a Nespresso machine. The cottage is heated by underfloor heating. The wellness garden, featuring a wood-fired hot tub (with wood included for one use), a barrel sauna, a cozy veranda with mood lighting, and a lounge area, is part of your stay. This section of the garden is reserved exclusively for our guests during your stay. From the sauna, you can gaze far out over the countryside; the stunning view creates a soothing atmosphere. If you’re lucky, you might spot some deer passing by. It’s a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle and unwind amidst all the beauty nature has to offer. It’s truly a joy to look around and listen to the many birdsong here. There is ample parking. During summer vacation, you can bring two horses for an additional fee. Two horse stalls will be available at that time.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located in the heart of the Stichtse Lustwarande, nestled among historic and picturesque farmhouses. This area comprises a long stretch of more than 100 country estates and manors along the southwestern edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Next to us lies the beautiful Sandenburg Estate, where you can enjoy a wonderful walk. The Langbroekerdijk is an idyllic avenue, and wherever you look, you’ll see sweeping views. It’s a very popular area for biking and hiking. Canoeing and kayaking on the waterways are also popular activities; equipment is available for rent just a 10-minute walk away. The many surrounding forests round out the experience with beautiful, varied hiking trails. Just a 10-minute walk away lies the bustling town of Wijk bij Duurstede, with a beautiful historic downtown featuring all kinds of sights and restaurants. There is a small supermarket in Langbroek, 2.3 km away.

Super cozy and aesthetically pleasing design. Beautiful living space with a gorgeous garden. We also loved that we had the chance to interact with the animals (horses and dogs) and explore the farm. The comprehensive amenities—both inside and in the pool and sauna—really won us over.
The surroundings are very cozy and idyllic. The atmosphere of the accommodation reflects this, and you feel very comfortable there.

A very nice house, tastefully decorated and fully equipped. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful! It takes some time for the water to get up to temperature, but starting a fire was part of the fun for us. The hostess is very attentive and was always there for us. A few minutes walk away is estate Sandenburg where you can walk beautifully. We walked the Gerrit Achterbergpad: while walking you come across all kinds of poems by him. Wijk bij Duurstede is nearby, a must to look around there as well. We also did our shopping there at a very large Albert Heijn.
This text is automatically translated. -
