The park is completely surrounded by greenery and immediately adjacent to 't Zand, a large estate with a huge variety of nature. Coniferous and deciduous trees, heathland, sand drifts and fens alternate. The animal kingdom is also not indifferent: deer, owls, woodpeckers, squirrels are abundant and occasionally a fox shows itself. An ideal hiking area where you can walk directly from the park.
