Welcome to our beautiful log house! The house is hidden among the trees where you can enjoy the singing of the birds and sometimes a deer shoots by in the early morning! The nature house has a living room with wood stove, sitting area and dining table with 4 chairs. Bedroom with double bed 160 x 200 cm and luxury bathroom with rain shower. Upstairs is a cozy sleeping loft with two single beds 80x 200 cm. The kitchen is fully equipped including induction hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. There is also coffee and tea available. The ideal ingredients for a wonderful stay in the nature house! The beds are made and towels and kitchen linen are provided. Bed and breakfast participation! Condition, we do not serve a standard breakfast. On the morning after arrival, breakfast is free of charge based on a maximum of 2 breakfast orders for €20 per person. Valid on bookings after 8 April 2025
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the heart of the 3 northern provinces. To be precise in the beautiful landscape of southern Westerkwartier Boerakker in the province of Groningen. Our site is located in the middle of the newly created nature reserve Polder de Dijken, a valhalla for birdwatchers. The environment is an ancient area where meadows are mostly surrounded by old tree walls. It is a peaceful area for cycling and walking. The city of Groningen is only 15 minutes away, you can go shopping or sit down in one of the many cozy cafes. The adjacent Friesland offers many recreational opportunities such as the Drents Friese Wold in Appelscha. Or the beautiful Lauwersmeer area where the boat to Schiermonnikoog departs from. Drenthe with its forests and all its old history. All this within a half hour drive from your stay!
