This former vacation home was lovingly renovated in 2019 with sustainable materials and a personal touch. The luxurious house in the middle of the forest is half made of glass giving you a beautiful view of large garden with forest (4ha) where you can cook on open fire and play for young and old. The living room has a cozy lounge with wood stove, a large dining table with separate sitting area and an open kitchen with a cooking island, refrigerator, oven, induction stove, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. For ecological reasons, we opted for a natural water treatment plant that flushes both toilets. Therefore, we ask to use biodegradable cleaning and maintenance products (in bathroom and kitchen) (these are available in the house). Each bedroom has a private bathroom with walk-in shower. There is pleasant floor heating for the whole house. From April to September we also rent the Pipowagen, but only in combination with the house.
Nature and surroundings
We like to share this magical place with others because we believe in the power of silence and nature leads to connection. This place is an oasis of calm and is located in the middle of the green area of Halle Zoersel, on the edge of the large Zoersel Forest, near the legendary "Boshuisje". In the sandy soil there are several riding stables but you can certainly enjoy the food and drink here like a Burgundian. Halle Zoersel was already visited in the last century by the inhabitants of Antwerp who liked to come and spend time in nature. Both walking and cycling, you can discover the Kempen or visit the historic town of Lier. But our large garden (4 ha) also offers many possibilities. So you can cook outside at the fire pit, or in the outdoor kitchen with pizza oven. There is an obstacle course (kids), a petanque court and badminton/volleyball court. We also open the adjacent private forest to other hikers. So a wide range for bon vivants.
