Beautiful spacious modern apartment amidst nature in Doetinchem. Between nature reserve De Zumpe and forest area De Slangenburg located apartment on estate. Doetinchem is known for its hospitality. Cycling in the Achterhoek is a feast. The very spacious (90M2) and complete apartment is rented including fully equipped kitchen, bed and bath and kitchen linen and electric bicycles. The bedroom has two lovely single beds which are standard made up as a double bed. In recent years, nature has been developed around the farm. There are hiking trails with benches. It is worth taking a tour of the property to discover the new nature there. There is also a bee farm on the property. Beekeeper Jan will be happy to show you around. There are also horses, cows (Galloways), sheep and chickens on the property. There is a natural pool where there is a seat to enjoy nature. The apartment has a surrounding view of the estate.
Nature and surroundings
The apartment is located on our estate between the Nature Reserve De Zumpe and Estate and forest "the Slangenburg". Because of its special landscape and wealth of plants and birds (e.g. oriole, green woodpecker, kestrel) De Zumpe is a wonderful place to stroll around, bird watching etc. At the same time, it is also a perfect base for walking and cycling tours, e.g. along the Oude IJssel towards the historic Hanseatic city of Doesburg, or towards the forests and museums of Ruurlo, the hills of Montferland, castle 's Heerenberg. Landgoed de Slangenburg is a beautiful forest with Castle de Slangenburg located in the middle of it . Due to its convenient location near Doetinchem with its extensive catering, shopping and cultural facilities (including the award-winning theater the Amphion) are the ingredients for a successful stay. Due to its proximity to the A18 freeway and Doetinchem train station, the residence is easily accessible by both car and public transport.
