As for the dogs, it's a shame the grounds aren't fenced off.

Very nice. The outdoor furniture does need to be replaced, especially the white chairs.
Otherwise, it's fine.

Heel leuk. Het buitenmeubilair is wel aan vervanging toe, vooral de witte stoelen.
Voor de rest prima.

A lovely, spacious house with a huge garden. The rooms are quite dated, though. Almost all the kitchens and TVs weren’t working. We weren’t told that we could ask to have them turned on.
The kitchen and refrigerator were also very small for so many people. The wellness area was nice. The sauna wasn’t very hot, and the shower kept dripping—even after it was repaired. A few umbrellas would be nice in the garden; there’s almost no shade.

Heerlijk groot huis, met enorme tuin. Wel erg gedateerde kamers. Bijna alle keukens en tv's werkten niet. Er werd niet verteld dat je kan vragen of het aangezet kan worden.
Keuken en koelkast ook erg klein voor zoveel mensen. Wellness was lekker. Sauna is niet erg warm en de douche bleef druppelen. Ook na reparatie. En paar parasols zouden fijn zijn in de tuin. Er is bijna geen schaduw.

It’s a house in a very quiet location. It’s on a road with relatively little traffic, though. The owner is also very strict about not making any noise. We hardly dared to sit outside after 10 p.m. for fear of disturbing the neighbors...
The forest is within walking distance. It’s just a little too far to walk there on a whim, though.

Het is een zeer rustig gelegen huis. Wel aan een weg naar relatief weinig verkeer. De eigenaar is ook heel streng op geen lawaai maken. We durfden na 22 uur bijna niet buren te zitten...
Het bos is op loopafstand. Wel nét iets te ver om er zo even heen te lopen.

The house is spacious and suitable for a large group, but unfortunately there are a few key points that were very disappointing for us. First, the excessive energy and water costs. From our deposit we ended up withholding €673.86 for one long weekend. We find this really disproportionate. It was stated beforehand that the energy costs would average around €250, so this difference was huge. In addition, we were charged €0.49 per kWh, while there are also solar panels at the house. This honestly doesn't feel reasonable and gave us the idea that this was more of an extra earning opportunity than a realistic settlement. In addition, the layout of the bedrooms was also disappointing. Some bedrooms were only accessible through another bedroom, so there was virtually no privacy. For a large group of adults this is just not convenient and really something that should be stated more clearly.Finally, we found the furnishings not really contemporary

Het huis is ruim en geschikt voor een grote groep, maar er zijn helaas een paar belangrijke punten die voor ons erg tegenvielen.

Allereerst de buitensporig hoge energie- en waterkosten. Van onze borg is uiteindelijk €673,86 ingehouden voor één lang weekend. Dat vinden wij echt niet in verhouding. Vooraf was aangegeven dat de energiekosten gemiddeld rond de €250 zouden liggen, dus dit verschil was enorm. Daarnaast werd er €0,49 per kWh gerekend, terwijl er ook nog zonnepanelen bij de woning aanwezig zijn. Dat voelt eerlijk gezegd niet redelijk en gaf ons het idee dat dit eerder een extra verdienmodel was dan een realistische afrekening.

Daarnaast viel ook de indeling van de slaapkamers tegen. Sommige slaapkamers waren alleen bereikbaar via een andere slaapkamer, waardoor er in de praktijk nauwelijks privacy was. Voor een grote groep volwassenen is dat gewoon niet handig en eigenlijk iets wat duidelijker vermeld zou moeten worden.
