This is my second time staying at this cottage. But the cottage has really gone downhill in the last two or three years. It was dirty—so dirty that you really don’t want to sit on the couch. A damp cloth wiped across the floor turned pitch black, which shows that it hasn’t been cleaned (properly) in a long time. We didn’t even touch the outdoor lounge set. The cutlery and plates in the kitchen cabinets were dirty. In addition, there’s a lot of overdue maintenance on the property: doors that don’t close properly, more broken tiles than intact ones on the patio, and posts on the awning that are loose or held in place with duct tape. Most bothersome are the window and door screens. Not a single screen works or closes properly, resulting in a house full of flies and mosquitoes. In summary: for us, it was quite a disappointing experience. Especially after our first positive experience. Daarnaast merk je veel achterstallig onderhoud aan de woning, deuren die niet goed sluiten, meer kapotte tegels dan hele op het terras, palen van de overkapping die loszitten of met ductape vastgezet zijn. Meest storende zijn de horren voor de ramen en deuren. Geen 1 hor werkt of sluit naar behoren, het gevolg: woning vol met vliegen en muggen. Samengevat: voor ons best een teleurstellende ervaring. Zeker na onze eerste goede ervaring. Een 1 gegeven omdat door bovenstaande punten de prijs / kwaliteit- verhouding niet klopt.
