The interior of the house is neat, clean, and has a well-equipped kitchen. We found the double bed to be very soft, and we would have liked to have two small pillows on the couch—that would have been just a little more comfortable. The owner had set up a travel crib and a high chair for us, which was really nice. The beanbag in the sunroom was also a hit with our toddler. He wanted to be thrown into it all the time.
There was a problem with the water heater during our stay; the owner came by quickly to take a look, but unfortunately the issue couldn’t be permanently fixed, so we ended up with cold water a few times while showering.
The cottage is nestled among the trees, which is very nice. We found the garden a bit untidy, with lots of weeds and tree branches growing right up to the cottage, so we didn’t enjoy spending time in the garden as much. Fortunately, there were plenty of lovely green spaces nearby to visit.Het huis is van binnen netjes, schoon en met goed uitgeruste keuken. Er was tijdens ons verblijf een probleem met de ketel, de eigenaar kwam snel langs om er naar te kijken, maar het probleem kon helaas niet blijvend verholpen worden, waardoor we nog een aantal keer koud water hadden tijdens het douchen.
Het huisje ligt tussen de bomen, wat heel fijn is. Wij vonden de tuin wat rommelig, met veel onkruid en boomtakken die tot aan het huisje groeide en vonden het daarom minder prettig om in de tuin te verblijven.
