The cottage is at the foot of the Motsia where you can hike for hours. Driving out of the campo brings you back into civilization and all other vacation amenities are within easy reach. The landlords are completely self-sufficient, i.e. they have solar panels and a water supply. The Tiny house has everything one needs and on the outside a beautiful large covered terrace with a nice sofa with a fireplace. In winter, this terrace will be completely closed with large windows so one can still enjoy the surroundings. In the large garden is enough space to find a nice spot in the shade or sun. In the summer months, the pool is up. About 5 km from the house you will find supermarkets, restaurants and on Tuesdays a large market. The house is on the landlord's property. The landlords are not present all year so there is a very good chance that one will have the whole property at one's disposal.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located at the foot of Montsia Mountain, which is a protected nature reserve. From the garden you walk straight into the mountains, where you can walk all day without meeting anyone. It is an adventurous walk to the top of the mountain with a beautiful view of the coast. On the other side of these mountains is the sea with the Ebro delta. The Ebro delta is a large (320 km²) national natural park. It consists of wetlands, rice fields, canals and the Ebro River, a paradise for people who love birds. Flamingos can be seen in several places. On the coast there are beautiful, large beaches. The area is a paradise for birds and, of course, for the bird lover. Freginals is a small village on a hill between the Serra de Godall and Serra del Motsia. In the village there is a bakery, fishmonger and pharmacy. On the outskirts of the village is a beautiful public swimming pool. In the area you can make beautiful walks in the mountains or along the coast. The sea is about 25 min.

The house is really tiny, but has all the amenities you need - it is basic, but more than sufficient, when you are looking for "out of the ordinary" and "not fancy" :-)
Very nice and mostly absolutely quiet surroundungs in the middle of seemingly endless olive orchard with a fantastic view of the Montsià mountains. I spend hours driving around on my bike sometimes without meeting another living soul.
