Nature house in Westendorp

It was everything we were looking for during this fall vacation. Slowing down, enjoying nature and space, and spending time together as a family. Renske made sure our stay was all of those things by nurturing us with a lovely breakfast and a very cozy and inviting accomodation.

We had the loveliest time at this sweet B&B. Renke was the most wonderful hostess and made sure that we were completely comfortable and enjoying our time. We were so well looked after and would happily return again. The breakfast (as many other former guests have noted), was something truly special. Each morning Renske added a special little treat - one morning it was gorgeous cinnamon rolls, one morning it was apple cider, and another was american pancakes. We also really enjoyed exploring the area. There were beautiful forests and trails for exploring. We really enjoyed the autumn leaves. Renske gave us some great recommendations on places to go for some nice natural playgrounds for our 5 year old son, a wonderful farm store and pumpkin patch, and some nice restaurants to enjoy. My son loved hearing the (very soft spoken) rooster in the mornings and the pigs getting excited to eat. He also really enjoyed the playground and trampoline. We truly had a restful and lovely time!

Together with 2 daughters enjoyed a cozy, well furnished cottage. Everything you need is there. The breakfast served by Renske has been much praised. This week I was with my husband 2 nights in a 4 star hotel with breakfast. What was offered was quality but by comparison Renske serves 'Haute Cuisine'. I nominate her for 'Best Breakfast of the Netherlands'.

Samen met 2 dochters genoten van een gezellig, goed ingericht huisje. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Het ontbijt dat door Renske wordt geserveerd is al veel geprezen. Deze week was ik met mijn man 2 nachten in een 4- sterrenhotel met ontbijt. Wat er werd aangeboden was kwaliteit maar hiermee vergeleken serveert Renske ‘Haute Cuisine’. Ik nomineer haar voor ‘Beste Ontbijt van Nederland’

The owners do their utmost to provide you with every convenience. Of particular note is the fantastic breakfast that Renske serves. They work with local and their own products and you can taste that! The living room and bedroom are cozy. If I had to name anything less than that, I would be nitpicking. Here goes. Beds sleep well although we found the pillows just a little too thick. The shower has two modes, rain and hand shower which both work perfectly but as the shower walls are only half you splash quite a lot wet. Their own animals are certainly nice but the rooster is a real rooster and that means you wake up early. Well those were my nagging points. Like I said, nitpicking. Your bikes can be stored and charged inside. You can also just use their freezer to put your cooling elements in, for example. Really nothing is too much for Renske and Thijs. A closet full of games make you not even miss the TV. From us a big compliment!

De uitbaters doen hun uiterste best om je van alle gemakken te voorzien. Daarbij springt in het oog het fantastische ontbijt dat Renske je voorschotelt. Ze werken met lokale en eigen producten en dat proef je! De verblijfsruimte en slaapkamer zijn gezellig en knus ingericht. Als ik al iets zou moeten benoemen wat minder is dan ga ik muggeziften. Komt ie. Bedden slapen goed al vonden wij de kussens net iets te dik. De douche heeft twee standen, regen- en hand douche die beide perfect werken maar omdat de douchewanden maar half zijn spetter je best veel nat. Hun eigen dieren zijn zeker leuk maar de haan is een echte haan en dat betekend dat je vroeg wakker bent. Nou dat waren mijn zeur puntjes. Zoals ik al zei, muggeziften. Je fietsen kunnen binnen worden gestald en opgeladen. Je mag ook gewoon gebruik maken van hun vriezer om bijvoorbeeld je koelelementen in te leggen. Echt niks is Renske en Thijs teveel. Een kast vol spellen maken dat je de tv niet eens mist. Van ons een dikke pluim!
