We had a wonderful stay. The tent is generously furnished, and a lot of thought has gone into all the amenities (e.g., thermoses, rechargeable lamps—since there’s no electricity in the tent—and a chemical toilet in a separate tent next to the main tent). It’s also nice that every tent has a private bathroom in the common area, which is well-equipped and has everything you need. We also highly recommend taking advantage of dinner, as An cooks delicious, healthy meals, and it’s very convenient to head straight from the pool to sit down for dinner. In short, definitely worth a visit!

We hebben een erg fijn verblijf gehad. De tent is royaal ingericht en er is goed nagedacht over alle voorzieningen (bijv. thermosflessen, oplaadbare lampen aangezien er in de tent geen stroom is en een chemisch toilet in een apart tentje naast de tent). Ook is het fijn dat iedere tent een privé badkamer heeft in de algemene ruimte die ook goed voorzien is. Bovendien kunnen we aanbevelen om van het diner gebruik te maken want An kookt heerlijk en gezond en het is erg gemakkelijk om vanuit het zwembad zo ongeveer direct aan te kunnen schuiven. Kortom, zeker een aanrader!

Green Canvas’s tents are tucked away among the greenery of the rolling French countryside. The tents are arranged so that you can’t see—or can barely see—the other tents, ensuring plenty of privacy. The surroundings are very green and peaceful. The area is great for hiking, biking, or visiting nearby towns.

De tenten van Green Canvas liggen verscholen tussen het groen in het glooiende Franse landschap. De tenten zijn zo opgesteld dat je de andere tenten niet of nauwelijks ziet en dus veel privacy hebt. De omgeving is erg groen en rustig. In de buurt kun je goed wandelen, fietsen of stadjes bezoeken.

A wonderful experience—the hosts were a fantastic couple who made us feel right at home and took care of everything. I highly recommend having dinner there at least once, because An is an amazing cook who uses ingredients straight from her garden!

Heerlijke ervaring, fantastisch koppel waardoor we werden ontvangen en volledig ontzorgt. Tip om zeker ook een avond te eten bij de locatie want An kan heerlijk koken met al haar ingrediënten uit haar tuin!

A wonderful place—quiet and secluded, with plenty to explore. A lovely pool, and a beautiful setting nestled among the meadows and nature.

Heerlijke plek , rustig afgelegen en genoeg om op te zoeken. Heerlijk zwembad en heerlijk tussen de weilanden en de natuur.

Every detail has been taken care of in and around these glamping tents. The tent itself is like a very spacious, comfortably furnished bedroom. The nearby barn features beautiful private bathrooms with a toilet, as well as a refrigerator. There is a chemical toilet next to the tent for use at night. Soft, atmospheric lighting has been installed around the tent so you’ll never trip over a cord, yet it’s dim enough not to obscure the view of the endless starry sky. Behind the barn is a lovely swimming pool where we spent many hours basking in the sun or relaxing in the shade. Last but certainly not least is the option to have the hosts prepare breakfast and dinner for you. Ann is a fantastic cook—her food is truly delicious. Finally, Ann and Dirk’s hospitality and friendliness are truly the icing on the cake.

Aan alles is gedacht in en om deze glamping tenten. De tent zelf is als een zeer ruime, comfortabel ingerichte slaapkamer. In de nabij geleden schuur bevinden zich mooie prive badkamers met wc alsook een koelkast. Bij de tent is een chemisch toilet voor ‘s nachts. Rondom de tent is sfeervolle zachte verlichting opgehangen zodat je nooit over een lijn struikelt maar die zacht genoeg is om de eindeloze sterrenhemel niet aan het zicht te onttrekken. Achter de schuur bevindt zich een heerlijk zwembad waarbij wij menig uur in de zon of juist de schaduw hebben doorgebracht. Last maar zeker niet least is de keuze die er is om het ontbijt en het diner door de gastvrouw en gastheer te laten verzorgen. Ann kan koken, echt heerlijk. De gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid van Ann en Dirk is tot slot echt de kers op de taart.

The large glamping tent is located about 50 meters from the nearest other tent, and there are trees between the tents as well, giving you the impression that you’re all alone. You have a view of the fields and trees below, and the only sounds you hear are those of the birds, the rustling trees, the insects, and cows grazing in the distance. A car drives by at most once an hour. You can truly unwind here.

De grote glamping tent staat circa 50 meter van de dichtstbijzijnde andere tent waarbij er tussen de tenten ook nog bomen staan waardoor je de indruk krijgt dat je er alleen staat. Je hebt uitzicht over de lagergelegen velden en bomen, waarbij het enige geluid dat je hoort dat van de vogels, de wuivende bomen, de insecten en in de verte lopende koeien is. Maximaal een keer per uur rijdt er een auto langs. Je komt echt helemaal tot rust.
