This nature house in Piedmont (northern Italy) is a former hay barn and stable. The basement was the place for livestock and has been converted into a bedroom for four, ideal for a couple or a small family. Through a small vaulted corridor you reach the bathroom. Upstairs there is the living room and kitchen connected to a covered outdoor terrace. The mezzanine has a bath and a seat overlooking the valley. On the 4 ha grounds around the house you will find a swimming pool (2.5 x 7 m², 140 cm deep, open in the summer period), a water source, a tree house, an open barn with chill space where you can also take wood for the stove, an outdoor barbecue and a pergola covered with fig trees and wisteria (d.i.e. the glicine after which our house is named). The Torre can also be rented together with Casa Glicine (sleeps 6 - cottage 75196) as Cascina Glicine (sleeps 10 - cottage 88358). The two houses are never rented at the same time to two different tenants.
Nature and surroundings
Rest, nature and peace of mind. That's what the house in Gorzegno is all about. Located high in the hills of the Alta Langa (Langhe region), the house overlooks the valleys of Gorzegno and Monesiglio. The accommodation is close to the Barolo wine region and just an hour's drive from the Ligurian Riviera, the Maritime Alps and the beautiful Italian cities of Turin and Genoa. Such a central location provides something for everyone! The nature house is an ideal base for hiking or biking, exploring the area on a Vespa, visiting the unspoiled villages, sampling Piedmontese cuisine and enjoying the views everywhere. Although remote, most amenities are close by. There are small supermarkets and restaurants in Gorzegno, Niella Belbo and Monesiglio (10-20 min). There are swimming pools within 15 min in Torre Bormida, Camerana and Bergolo. Outside and inside the house the 4G connection is good.
