This nature house in Piedmont (northern Italy) is a former hay barn and stable for cattle. The basement was the place for the cattle and has now been converted into a bedroom for 4 people, ideal for a couple or a small family. Through a small vaulted corridor you reach the bathroom. Upstairs there is the living room and kitchen connected to a covered outdoor terrace. The mezzanine has a bath and a seat overlooking the valley. On the 4 acres of land surrounding the cottage you will find a water source, a tree house, an open barn where you can take wood for the stove, a pizza oven that has yet to be restored, an outdoor barbecue and a pergola covered with fig trees and wisteria (i.e. the glicine after which our house is named). Adjacent to the Torre there is the Casa Glicine (sleeps 6 - cottage 75196) that can be rented additionally, so that it can accommodate 10 people. The two houses are never rented at the same time to two different tenants.

The accommodation is close to the Barolo wine region and just an hour's drive from the Ligurian Riviera, the Maritime Alps and the beautiful Italian cities of Turin and Genoa. Such a central location provides something for everyone! The nature house is an ideal base for hiking or biking, exploring the area on a Vespa, visiting the unspoiled villages, sampling Piedmontese cuisine and enjoying the views everywhere. Although remote, most amenities are close by. There are small supermarkets and restaurants in Gorzegno, Niella Belbo and Monesiglio (10-20 min). There are swimming pools within 15 min in Torre Bormida, Camerana and Bergolo. Outside and inside the house the 4G connection is good.
