Great and direct communication with the host who was always accessible for questions and information.
A binder in the house with complete information about activities, hikes in the neighbourhood, interesting places to visit, places to eat etc.
We had a tour in the castle with explanations from our host about the history of the Chateau and its inhabitants back to the 12th century.
We were able to order a home made dinner upon arrival and breakfast for the next morning was taken care of.

The 'gite' is situated in a very quiet and peaceful countryside location, directly on the premises of a beautiful and interesting chateau. We wanted to escape the Dutch madness of New Year's Eve (our dog is very much afraid of fireworks) and this proved to be a great alternative. The house was tastefully decorated in Christmas style and was it felt warm and cosy with freezing weather outside. It was equipped very well, we were able to prepare our own meals and the beds were very comfortable. It felt like a wonderful stay in a beautiful surrounding.

Beautiful cottage, all the trimmings. Quiet, clean, nicely decorated, everything is thought of. No negative point. We were welcomed with a nice breakfast for the day after.
