Nature house in Gierle

The cottage is in a nice quiet area. Everything in terms of inventory is there, nothing missed. Beds are great.Yet some comments: * Dining table chairs and sofa look nice, but are very uncomfortable. Back pain giving * My parents have been a few days. Had contact with owner about that. 2nd shower turned out not to be usable. Sink was clogged and the chiffon of the sink was leaking * Did not receive necessary info beforehand, but only after we asked the owner for it. Regarding whether or not bedding is present. What kind of coffee maker is present. And the fact that the tap water is not drinkable so you have to bring bottled water. This is nowhere mentioned on the website and also not in the info folder in the cottage. It is that a previous guest had mentioned this in a review. So there are still some improvements necessary for a carefree and memorable experience

Het huisje staat in een mooie rustige omgeving.
Alles qua inventaris is aanwezig, niets gemist. Bedden liggen heerlijk.
Toch wel enige kanttekeningen:
* Eettafelstoelen en bank zien er mooi uit, maar zitten zeer oncomfortabel. Rugklachten gevend
* Mijn ouders zijn nog een paar dagen geweest. Daarover contact gehad met eigenaar. 2e douche bleek niet bruikbaar. Putje was verstopt en de chiffon van de wasbak lekte.
* Vooraf geen noodzakelijke info gekregen, maar pas nadat wij de eigenaar daar om vroegen. Betreft het wel of niet aanwezig zijn van beddengoed. Wat voor soort koffieapparaat er aanwezig is. En het feit dat het kraanwater niet drinkbaar is en je dus fleswater mee moet nemen. Dat staat nergens op de website vermeld en ook niet in de info map in het huisje. Het is dat een eerdere gast dit in een review vermeld had.
Er zijn dus nog wel wat verbeterpunten noodzakelijk voor een onbezorgde en onvergetelijke ervaring

Rustige , fijne omgeving. Weg van de drukte. Half uurtje van Antwerpen, dus de drukte kan je wel opzoeken

A house in the forest with all the comforts that spoiled city dwellers are used to. Everything is very tastefully furnished and new, the kitchen is fully equipped (better than ours at home). We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

Ein Haus im Wald mit allem Komfort, den verwöhnte Städter gewohnt sind. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und neu, die Küche ist tipptopp ausgestattet (besser als unsere zu Hause). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!

In the middle of nature, without seeing any neighbors. We particularly enjoyed the fact that you can start your forest walk right outside the door. And if you feel like going to the big city in between: Antwerp is only half an hour's drive away.

Mitten in der Natur, ohne dass man einen Nachbarn sieht. Besonders genossen haben wir, dass man direkt vor der Tür seinen Waldspaziergang starten kann. Und wen es doch zwischendurch in die Großstadt zieht: Antwerpen liegt nur eine gute halbe Autostunde entfernt.
