You will stay in the old forest house from the 19th century, which in 2022 was completely renovated with much love into a guest house. The authentic atmosphere has been preserved but the accommodation is equipped with all modern conveniences. Downstairs with open dining kitchen, spacious living room with fine sofa, armchairs, TV and wood stove and luxury bathroom with fresh white towels and toilet. Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms with king size beds made with crisp white linen and toilet in the hallway. Private garden and terrace. Super fast wifi, contactless check-in. And a beautiful view! The house is not suitable for small children and people with mobility problems. Pets are not allowed.I myself live in the modern extension, realized in 2006. Thanks to its location-the Guest House facing Southwest and the private home facing Northeast-both homes enjoy complete privacy.
Nature and surroundings
In the beautiful Wâlterswâld or on his Dutch Wouterswoude, in the Frisian Woods just below Dokkum, you will find this lovely accommodation for 4 persons of about 110 m². Through bicycle path Mids yn 'e Wrâld, dead end for cars, you come to the yard of the guesthouse. Inside and outside you will enjoy the view of the ancient hedgerow landscape with elms and hedgerows of the National Landscape Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. The stars are bright in the sky here and the silence can be deafening. Guesthouse Pure Rust is for rent for short or longer vacations and an excellent starting point for cycling trips, walks or a relaxing stay around the house.
