Green pearl in the forest. Waking up in the morning to the sound of nature. A deer leaps across the meadow, while the stork scavenges his meal in the front yard. With a bit of luck, in the evening you will encounter the badger family, who will gladly come to inspect the lawn for larvae. This nature house, after an intensive renovation, has become a wonderful place with a nod to the atmosphere of the English cottages. In the English kitchen you will find our Esse cooker with induction hob. The kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen faucet has a cooker function, making boiling water available at any time of the day. The authentic wood stove in the living room will be an extra pleasant element on cold days. The nature house is decorated with a view to a relaxing stay and to be at one with nature for a while. The house is located on a dead-end forest path.
Nature and surroundings
In 2018, we came across the most adorable little farmhouse in Wijnjewoude. It needed quite a bit of work, but we instantly fell in love. The overwhelming greenery, the animals, the views and the heathland within walking distance. After an intensive renovation, Klein Bosland will be ready in 2023 to serve as a lovely vacation home. In the southeast of Friesland you can still find ancient trees and forests. The peat and sandy soil of the Drents- Friese Wold National Park look un-Frisian but form a beautiful background for stream valleys hiding under a canopy of leaves. The forests of Beetsterzwaag, Olderberkoop and the Fochteloërveen show another, more unknown Friesland. The best kept secret and a mecca for lovers of an open forest landscape.
