The cottage has been recently renovated and is spotless. The bed is fantastic, and so is the kitchen. It even has a fully functional oven. In the photos, it looks like you have the cottage all to yourself, but the owner lives upstairs. There’s plenty of privacy, though, and no noise from each other. Highly recommended—I’d love to come back here!! Be sure to bring groceries with you—there’s no supermarket in the village.

We had a few very cozy and beautiful days in Susanne's nature cottage. We felt right at home in the beautifully furnished apartment. Despite the hot weather, it was always pleasantly cool inside. Wir hatten ein paar sehr gemütliche schöne Tage in Susannes Naturhäusschen. Wir fühlten uns gleich wie zuhause in dem schön eingerichteten Apartment. Trotz heißem Wetter blieb es drinnen immer angenehm kühl. Den Garten direkt am Waldrand konnten wir mitbenutzen und Kaffee trinken und meditieren. Durch die Nähe zum Garten verirren sich ein paar Insekten nach drinnen, die uns jedoch nicht gestört haben. Mit den Fahrrädern erkundeten wir die wunderschöne Natur, wobei man fit sein sollte, für die hügelige Landschaft ;)

Bei Fragen ist Susanne schnell erreichbar, lässt ansonsten aber Freiraum.
Es gibt einen Direktzug von Mainz und nach Saarbrücken, der Bostalsee ist ebenfalls in der Nähe und einen Besuch wert.
Das Wlan ist nicht überragend, aber für Nachrichten und Google reicht es allemal.
