So all in all, I felt totally unwelcome and there was little in the way of relaxing. Everything together made me decide to leave after 1 night. From the landlords I have not heard anything more.

The written card that was supposed to welcome me was not welcoming either, the card seemed to have been used several times. (I had indicated that I would come alone, on the card was always "you guys") I did hear the host loudly calling next to the cottage and then had to mow the grass around dinner time, so that was over an hour of noise. The wood stove was difficult to get started with only 3 firelighters and very large pieces of wood, no kindling to find. The thermostat in the cottage could not be used. The screen is unreadable. which meant I was in a very cold cottage for the most part.Also, all the crockery in the cupboard was not clean, everything I washed before and after using it.The cottage is in the garden, but is not very sheltered. therefore little privacy.
