Nature house in Villejoubert

Gite Jean-Hélie for 4 people was renovated and fully equipped in 2020 while maintaining original details. The property has a total of 5 gites, 2 of which are used, so you have no direct neighbors. On the ground floor you have in one room the kitchen, sitting and dining area with patio doors to the south facing terrace with unobstructed views of the estate with orchard. If desired, when the time comes, you can pick a fresh apple or pear for your breakfast. The kitchen is equipped with fridge / freezer, dishwasher, induction hob, nespresso coffee machine, airfryer, kettle, salad spinner. On the 1st floor there are 1 bedroom with a double bed (2.10 x 1.80) and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (2.00 x 0.90). Both bedrooms have air conditioning. In addition, there is a modern bathroom with walk-in shower. The gite has a TV with chrome cast and DVD player.

Villejoubert is in the Charente, which borders south to the Dordogne, has a rich history and La Barre is an excellent base from which to explore it. Our estate is located 20 km north of Angoulême, 45 km east of Cognac and 100 km north of Périgueux. The Charente is a very versatile region with countless sunflower fields, with historic cities such as Angoulême and Poitiers where you can visit many churches and cathedrals and also enjoy wandering through the small alleys looking for a good restaurant. In addition, there are many hiking and cycling tours possible directly from our estate and of course by its rivers and lakes excellent for canoeing. In the immediate vicinity there are several beaches on the Charente with Lifeguards (July/Aug).
