Nature house in Nieuw Annerveen

Welcome to this very spacious, comfortable barn house with unique and wide views over farmlands, woods and nature reserves (Hunzedal and Unesco Global Geopark De Hondsrug). The nature house is the outbuilding of a classic rentenierswoning from 1907 with a rich history. The house is ground floor and consists of a spacious entrance, large living room with kitchenette (65 m2), bedroom (30 m2) and modern bathroom with walk-in shower, bath and toilet (6 m2). The carefully furnished living room has a spacious bookcase, nice corner sofa, TV, strong WiFi, large dining table and two sliding doors to the terrace facing southwest. The sunsets there are magnificent! The kitchen is well equipped and fully featured: stocked coffee bean machine, fridge (without freezer), oven and dishwasher. The bedroom has a box spring (1.60 x 2.00m), closet, sink and seating by the window (with sliding doors). Two free bikes are available to explore the area.

The nature house is located in the outskirts of Nieuw Annerveen: a small ribbon village on the border of the Groninger Veenkoloniën and Drentse Hondsrug. Moreover, it is close to the Hunze: an ancient meandering river that flows into the Wadden Sea. Walking, cycling, canoeing: from the Buitenhuis you can go in all directions via various (junction) routes. Along the way you will encounter all kinds of animals such as deer, hares and pheasants and many bird species. There is also a beaver lodge near the river Hunze. In the area you will find several small villages, each with their own character such as Annen, Zuidlaren and Gieten. Hunebedden, brink markets, regional museums: it's all nearby. The cities of Assen and Groningen are 25 car minutes away and have a wide range of historical, social and cultural offerings. Although you can also find this close to home: the village pub 't Keerpunt has existed since 1750 and has an international reputation in the musical field!
