We are happy to receive you in our b&b, in our yard and part of our own house, but with its own entrance. You share the courtyard garden with us, there is also a separate terrace behind the house. Large kitchen with dining table, Smeg fridge/freezer, Nespresso, kettle, water filter, gas stove. Stairs to bed and bathroom under low beams (bath, toilet, sink, hairdryer, towels, washcloths) under the point ridge. Less suitable for tall people! In the countryside in beautiful hamlet with 12 houses. Enjoying, walking, napping, reading, writing, immersing in beautiful nature. The bed is not wide (1.40) but with a super mattress, from the bed overlooking the beautiful hamlet and the hills. Wifi available (low debit adsl). We offer a nice breakfast, and if you want you eat with us in the evening (25€ pp). Small scale, own vegetables in the garden. We have 2 big sweet dogs, yours is also very welcome. Zen! Our b&b is also for rent as a gîte, so without breakfast.
Nature and surroundings
Here in the Périgord Vert you stay in an Anton Pieck-like setting in a beautiful hamlet. Nature, hiking, hilly landscape, starry skies, silence. At 10 km via beautiful roads (also doable on a sporty bike / electric bicycle) you will find Excideuil for all your shopping and restaurants. At 14 km Thiviers for larger supermarkets and a train station. Everything here is small-scale. In the Perigord Vert you will find beautiful villages like St. Jean de Cole, or Brantôme, where you can stroll around, without the craziness of the Perigord Noir, which, by the way, you will find in an hour's drive. And.... very beautiful nature, hiking trails everywhere, small rivers, good food, peace, real silence, starry skies, dark nights, space, enjoy. We can arrange electric assisted mountain bikes for you, or a guided mtb tour. In Corgnac s/Isle your dog can paddle in the little river, you can swim in the lake of Nantheuil. Castles, caves of Villars. Or just do nothing......
