The yurt is a spacious tent, originally (and still) used by nomads in Mongolia. It is a beautiful authentic tent, in which you will find peace and comfort. There is a wood stove and the tent is insulated, so even on cold nights you will be comfortable. You can also make a campfire outside on a public fire pit or you can rent a fire bowl. Facilities: - electricity/lighting - wood stove on pellets (works very easily) - luxury double bed 160x200, including bedding and electric blanket - sofa bed 140x200, including bedding - own outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, 4-burner stove and kitchen inventory - picnic table - suitable for 4 persons (ideally max 2 adults) - pets not allowed - you use the toilet building (heated)
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is a place to slow down while enjoying a friendly atmosphere. A small-scale campsite in the Belgian Ardennes where you can relax in nature. You feel like being abroad, while you are already there after about a two and a half hour drive from Utrecht or about two hours from Antwerp and Brussels. You can camp with us or stay in one of our tents or cabins. The campsite is located directly on the Amblève river, in the province of Liège. The atmosphere is relaxed, slightly alternative and cozy, with attention to peace and quiet. No busy program, no swimming pool and no tightly raked pitches, but a natural environment with character. You can make fires and paddle in the river. The fairytale walk of the Ninglispo is within walking distance and several walks start from the campsite.
