Everything is warm, welcoming and unique from the flagstone floors to the beautiful thatch on the roof. What a place to come back to in the evening after exploring the beauty of west Clare, relaxing while sitting in front of a crackling fire in what just might be one of the nicest cottages west of the mighty river Shannon.

The cottage is situated on the Shannon estuary way, in the rolling hills of Clare. Due to its remote yet central spot you have the choice to explore the river, fields and other beautiful spots around Ballynacally. But you are only about 35 min from Shannon Airport, 15 minutes from Ennis and about 40 minutes from Doonbeg golf course. There are too many spots worth visiting to mention all here. Killimer ferry can bring you across the river Shannon and you can explore County Kerry from there. Up north are the famous Cliffs of Moher, again well worth a visit.
