In the 19th century, this nature house was originally a pigsty and was part of the farm. In 1972, the then owner had plans made to convert the pigsty into a separate home. Guests of the house have a private garden and terrace with ample seating. Although we live nearby, you have your own privacy. Your stay consists of a living room with central heating and wood stove, separate dining area, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. You can bring your own wood for the wood stove. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two single beds (90x200) and a bedroom with a double bed (with two separate mattresses of 90x200). On the landing there is a single bed (90x200). The ceiling height on the floor is ~195cm. The use of bed linen and towels is included. Bicycles can be put in the lockable bike shed where there is also the BBQ and extra garden chairs. WiFi is available.

Your cozy vacation home is located in the outskirts of the village of Harfsen, on the northern edge of the beautiful Achterhoek (Gelderland). Harfsen is about 10km (10 car minutes) from the beautiful Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen. The environment is a wooded area, but also with heathland, meadows and lots of farms. The house is located in the middle of the meadows on a quiet B-road. For cyclists and walkers, the area is ideal for enjoying the beautiful scenery and picturesque villages. The nature reserve "De Gorsselse Heide" is a stone's throw away.
