Nature house in Suhl OT Gehlberg

Our cozy vacation home with a terrace is located at an elevation of about 700 meters above sea level, and we’ve furnished it with plenty of wood; to make you feel right at home, there’s also a wood-burning stove. There is plenty of firewood available. We can accommodate up to 4 guests, and children and pets are welcome. In the natural garden, with its large old trees and colorful hedges, you’ll find shade, and it’s always a few degrees cooler there. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Please understand that the smoking area is on the partially covered terrace. Wi-Fi is available in the house.

A family of squirrels and at least 10 different species of birds live on the property. It’s about 100 meters to the start of the first hiking trail. The trails lead you to the highest peaks of the Thuringian Forest; relax on fragrant mountain meadows, marvel at our giant trees, or watch what’s crawling, flying, hopping, and running. The forest is full of wonder.
