Nature house in Lauvstad

The cottage was beautiful, spacious, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly imagine; it was truly a wonderful place to spend a lazy rainy day. The hostess was very kind; she respected our privacy but still checked in with us at appropriate intervals to see if we were enjoying our stay.

Het huisje was prachtig, ruim, met een fijne inrichting en van alles voorzien dat je maar kan bedenken; echt een fijn huis om een regendag lui door te brengen. De gastvrouw was erg aardig, respecteerde onze privacy, maar informeerde wel met gepaste tussenpozen of we het naar onze zin hadden.

A lovely, beautiful, and incredibly quiet setting. You do have to drive to get to the nice spots, though.

Fijne, mooie en ongelooflijk stille omgeving. Moet wel (met de auto) op pad om op mooie plekken te komen

We had a really great time, thanks in part to our host, Venise—she took us along to herd the sheep from the pasture near the house up into the mountains. She has so many stories to share. The leg of lamb we bought from her was delicious. We recommend this place to everyone. It’s also a place we might return to someday.

We hadden het enifm naar onze zin mede dankzij de host Venise ze nam ons mee om de schapen van de weide bij het huis de bergen in te brengen. Ze weet veel te vertellen. De lamsbout die we bij haar kochten was heerlijk. We raden iedereen deze plek aan. Voor ons ook een plek om misschien terug te keren

The house is in a beautiful location. There’s a piece of land by the fjord where you can spend some time. It’s magical there. There are many beautiful sights to see in the area. We went to the bird island of Runde. The chalet itself is spacious and very well-equipped.

Het huis ligt prachtig. Er is een stuk grond aan de fjord waar je tijd ksn doorbrengen. Het is daar magisch. In de omgeving is veel moois te vinden. Wij gingen naam vogeleiland Runde. Het chalet zelf is ruim en zeer goed uitgerust.

Very nice, chalet-style cottage in a quiet area. Two very friendly ladies who were always ready for advice or a nice story about the sheep. There is a road between the house and the fjord, but there are almost no cars. Wonderfully furnished on the water with a jetty, a sauna with fjord view etc. The bathroom was perhaps a little small, but the living room and covered terrace were large and nicely decorated. Store and ferry within walking distance. We went to the bird island Runde, a great trip.

Zeer leuk, chalet-achtig huisje in een rustige streek. Twee heel vriendelijke dames die altijd klaar stonden voor advies of een leuk verhaal over de schapen. Er ligt een weg tussen het huis en de fjord, maar er rijden bijna geen auto's. Heerlijk ingericht aan het water met een steiger, een sauna met fjordzicht etc. De badkamer was misschien wat klein, maar de woonkamer en het overdekte terras waren groot en leuk ingericht. Winkeltje en ferry op wandelafstand. We gingen naar het vogeleiland Runde, een geweldige uitstap.
