On a beautiful location in the middle of the mound landscape along the Wadden coast, an accommodation with all amenities. The accommodation is realized in a typical fryske kop-hals-romp farm from the year 1774. All facilities are on the ground floor. The shower and toilet are behind the box bed doors. From the kitchen/living area (Former bûthuis; part where the cows were stabled) you step through the door to your sleeping quarters (Former potato storage). From your accommodation you can reach the terrace through the sliding doors, the terrace is located on the canal where you can relax and possibly go fishing. All parts are private and for your exclusive use. As an option you can order breakfast (12,- pp per breakfast). The accommodation is very suitable to enjoy the surroundings for a long period of time. The accommodation (and farm) is more than completely self-sufficient in energy.

Come and enjoy the beautiful mound landscape along the Wadden coast. The perfect base to unwind and enjoy nature. Within walking distance of the Wadden Sea coast. Also an ideal base to cross the Wadden Sea (10 minutes by car from the pier of Holwerd) and enjoy the island of Ameland. Schiermonnikoog and the Lauwerzee area is also highly recommended if you stay with us. A visit to the highest mound of Friesland (Hogebeintum 5 minutes cycling distance) with its beautiful church should not be missed, also take the day after the mound of the future; located in the unique salt marsh landscape behind the sea dike! At approximately 30 minutes cycling distance you are in the heart of Dokkum. The city where around 754 Bonifatius was killed. The old fortified city contains numerous attractions and culinary eateries. After leaving the city by bike, the route along the Dokkumer Ee to our accommodation is definitely recommended.
