Nature house in Groesbeek

We used this cottage as a base for the Walk of Wisdom. The location was pretty central for that. The cottage had all the amenities we needed. I didn’t have any kids with me, but they’d have a blast with the trampoline and all the toys (which are neatly stored away).
The cottage deserves a solid 8. It is a bit damp, which I suppose makes sense in the middle of the forest. It didn’t bother me personally, but it is something to keep in mind. That brings the score to 8.
Communication with the owner went smoothly. A week in advance, I received an email with detailed instructions. After that, we stayed in good contact via WhatsApp.
In short, it’s a wonderful place to unwind in nature or a great base for activities.

Dit huisje gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor de Walk of Wisdom. De plek was daarvoor redelijk centraal. Het huisje voldeed aan alle gemakken. Ik had geen kind mee, maar die kunnen hun hart ophalen met de trampoline en al het speelgoed (dat netjes is opgeborgen).
Het huisje verdient een dikke volgende. Het is er wel wat vochtig, wat denk ik logisch is midden in het bos. Zelf heb ik er geen last van gehad, maar wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Dat maakt de 8.
De communicatie verliep goed met de eigenaar. Een week van te voren kreeg ik een mail met uitgebreide uitleg. Daarna nog goed contact gehad via WhatsApp.
Kortom, het is een heerlijke plek om in de nartuur tot rust te komen of een mooie uitvalsbasis voor activiteiten.

This cottage was situated in a very wooded area. All day long, you could hear the birds singing all around you—a wonderfully soothing sound.

Dit huisje stond in een zeer bosrijke omgeving. De hele dag hoorde je de vogeltjes om je heen, een heerlijk rustgevend geluid.

Everything is neat and clean, good beds, everything available, including for the children. Communication was good. Beautiful surroundings where you can hike or bike well.

Alles is netjes en schoon, goede bedden, alles aanwezig, ook voor de kinderen. Communicatie was goed. Mooie omgeving waar je goed kunt wandelen of fietsen.

Lovely cottage in the woods! Seen bats, heard owls, the children played wonderfully on the trampoline. Rested and relaxed back home. We will definitely come back!

Heerlijk huisje in het bos! Vleermuizen gezien, uilen gehoord, de kinderen hebben heerlijk gespeeld op de trampoline. Uitgerust en ontspannen weer naar huis. We komen zeker terug!

We had a wonderful time. The area is beautiful, There is plenty to do in the area. It is a nice cottage with a lovely garden. We had a weekend with changeable weather, children enjoyed the trampoline and we enjoyed the sauna. Inside relax with a book on the couch by the wood stove while the rain splattered on the roof. We would love to come back here again!

Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad. De omgeving is prachtig, Er is van alles te doen in de omgeving. Het is een lekker huisje met een heerlijke tuin. We hadden een weekend met wisselvallig weer, kinderen hebben genoten van de trampoline en wij van de sauna. Binnen lekker met een boek op de bank bij de houtkachel terwijl de regen op het dak kletterde. We komen hier graag nog eens terug!
