Nature house in Anjum (Oostmahorn)

This nature house is a beautiful 4-person vacation home. It offers views of the marina and Lauwersmeer. It’s a great starting point for a day trip to Schiermonnikoog, Ameland, Dokkum, or Groningen. The vacation home has 2 bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with two single beds—a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a spacious, bright living room with a large kitchen table and sitting area. Of course, there’s a TV and free, excellent Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic stovetop, a kettle, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a combination microwave. From the living room, you can step out through the sliding doors onto the beautiful terrace, which features a seating area and lounge chairs.

This nature house is located right on the Lauwersmeer. This National Park is a wonderful place for hiking, biking, boating, observing nature, and experiencing the outdoors. This area is also part of the Dark Sky Project. It is also close to Lauwersoog and the Wadden Sea. Birdwatching, fishing, biking, hiking, mudflat walking, sailing, and windsurfing are all popular activities in the immediate vicinity. In Oostmahorn (Anjum), there are also playgrounds for children, sandy and grassy beaches for children and surfers, and boat, surfboard, and bike rentals. The nearby Esonstad vacation park features an indoor play center, an indoor swimming pool, and a pitch-and-putt golf course. Oostmahorn has several restaurants and outdoor dining areas. It’s also well worth visiting the historic town of Dokkum, with its cozy outdoor dining areas and charming shops.
