Surrounded with a beautiful nature reserve stands on the schildmeer this very neat vacation home with barn. The house is fully equipped and has been preserved. There is fiberglass internet with wifi available. The house has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. 1 bedroom has a double bed, 1 bedroom has a bunk bed which can also be used by adults. 1 of the sofas in the living room is a 1 person sofa bed. The house has a spacious kitchen with refrigerator, freezer and induction stove. The house has a spacious indoor veranda. The nature house is within walking distance of the schildmeer, the Groningse Golfclub Duurswold, the beach and marina of 'de Otter' and marina 'Boei12'.
Nature and surroundings
't Roegwold and the Schildmeer is a varied nature area that is in full development. Old nature is being supplemented with new nature and agricultural areas between the already existing nature areas are being redeveloped. The area is characterized by an alternation of open water, grasslands, marshes, rugged nature, tranquility and wide views. A large part of the area is grazed by Hereford cows, Groninger blister cows and sheep.Thanks to the extensive network of bicycle and hiking trails you can see and experience nature and become completely immersed in it. For example, by walking along the Knuppelpad; a wooden plank path of 750 meters, right through the swamp of 't Roegwold. The view is different every season, allowing you to take the most beautiful pictures here.
