I’m Pim Nolen, an entrepreneur, and I’m taking things a bit easier these days…… I have a cozy little cottage in the large garden of our home with a fantastic view of the meadows and right in the middle of everything you sometimes really long for in the city. The cottage features a spacious bathroom, a compact kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. There’s also a TV—though you probably won’t turn it on very often. Here, you’ll feel right at home in nature, surrounded by peaceful forests and meadows—and as the icing on the cake, it’s just a 5-minute walk from the IJssel River. There are plenty of opportunities for long hiking and biking trails, and nearby restaurants—including “Loetje,” known for its excellent steak, among other things. Rental rates are even more affordable when booking a midweek stay and/or longer stays! *Additional costs include cleaning fees, which cover bath and bed linens. The cottage did have a few things that needed to be replaced or fixed. The outdoor furniture was in poor condition. The door to the garden/lawn didn't open easily. The couch had seen better days. Fortunately, the kitchen was fine, the internet was excellent, and the landlord was very nice and helpful.
