Nature house in Stavoren

Layout:The harbor house is tastefully and completely furnished (with an eye for detail). The house has the living room on the top floor with beautiful views over the harbor, the wide canal and pastures. The gas fireplace provides pleasant warmth and is atmospheric. Half open kitchen with dishwasher, combi oven and fridge freezer. Nice terraces at the house where you can sit and relax. The Havenwoning has a nice fresh bathroom and 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds (bed linen and towels are provided) on the first floor. There is also an infrared sauna on the first floor. Both the front and the back are terraces on the upper floor with garden furniture and views over the water. Car parking is available (a short distance away). Wireless internet available and bed linen is included.

Surroundings:At the marina you can rent neat sailboats or a sloop to explore the Frisian lakes. Stavoren, 1-2 kilometers away from your vacation home, on the old harbor you will find among other things "the little woman of Stavoren" the symbol of the medieval saga about the enigmatic downfall of Stavoren after a rich past. Stavoren has a lovely sandy beach on the IJsselmeer coast. The surroundings of Stavoren are particularly suitable for water sports enthusiasts, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. From Stavoren you can make pleasant trips to one of the 11 towns such as Workum, Hindeloopen or Sneek. On a beautiful day it is definitely worth taking the boat to sail over to Enkhuizen (Zuiderzee Museum, Sprookjesbos), enjoy cycling through the Gaasterland woods or laze around on one of the beautiful beaches. On a slightly down day, you could visit the Jopie Huisman museum in Workum or the Frisian Skating Museum in Hindeloopen.
