This beautiful chalet is located on a small forest park on a dirt road, just 1.5 kilometers from the cozy village of Ruurlo. The chalet is cozy, warm and rustic with lots of wood and natural materials, giving it a nice and quiet atmosphere. From the sliding doors you can sit down under the covered veranda, where you can enjoy the beautiful view and outdoor life until late in the evening. The country kitchen is equipped with an oven/microwave and dishwasher. The chalet is equipped with two bedrooms with very comfortable box-spring beds. This nature house is located in the ancient landscape of the Achterhoek, in the far east of Gelderland, and this shows a different face behind every bend. Forests, moors and small meadows between wooded banks alternate. Near the frog pools you can hear the noisy concerts of the tree frogs in the spring. If you sit at the edge of a stream, you may see a quick flash of blue passing by: the kingfisher. The Achterhoek is a paradise for unwinding, with its meandering streams, estates, castles and farms and ancient trees. But the Achterhoek is also made for being active. You can walk along sandy or church paths, feel like a cyclist in paradise, go rollerblading, horseback riding, and so on. For children, with good or bad weather, there are so many fun things to do, such as the climbing forest, the Kabouterpad, a beautiful outdoor swimming pool or wandering through the largest beech hedge maze in Europe.
