This nature house is located on the outskirts of De Tike tucked away on a dead end road, rural in national landscape the Noardlike Fryske Wâlden. A beautiful place centrally in Friesland with lots of privacy. Through a private access path you reach this Tiny house that is equipped with all comforts. The smoke and pet-free cottage is located in a barn which has been renovated and fully insulated while retaining old elements which gives it a characteristic atmosphere. From the living / bedroom you have beautiful unobstructed views over the orchard. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven and fridge freezer. Also equipped with underfloor heating, pellet stove, washing machine and private bathroom (shower and toilet separated). Rent includes bed, bath and kitchen linen! The guest house stands on its own grounds of a small hectare. You can start your own fire in the fireplace. If you wish, we can provide you with a wheelbarrow of wood.
Nature and surroundings
De Tike has its own small harbor from where you can sail onto De Leijen with your canoe, sup or small boat. From the beaches around the lake you can also surf. In addition, it is an excellent base for beautiful cycling and hiking trips to, for example, the National Parks the "Drents-Friese Wold" and the "Alde Feanen" around Earnewâld. With Friesland people often think of sailing in the lake district, but it has much more to offer: go exploring and be surprised by the variety of nature with small picturesque villages and towns. The surroundings are beautiful and serene, ideal for a break from the hustle and bustle. From the cottage you can walk straight into nature, towards the water and the beautiful hiking trails. The morning dives were wonderfully refreshing and gave an energetic start. The cottage itself is cozy, comfortable and fully equipped. Especially the fire stove made it extra cozy; perfect for reading in the evening and unwinding. I not only enjoyed walking here, but also made and composed music. The silence and space are truly inspiring. Yka is an incredibly welcoming and warm host, making you feel immediately welcome and at ease. A great place for a workation, a creative reset or just to recharge in nature. Absolutely highly recommended!

Ik heb hier een lang weekend doorgebracht en het was precies wat ik nodig had. De omgeving is prachtig en sereen, ideaal om even helemaal los te komen van de drukte. Vanuit het huisje loop je zo de natuur in, richting het water en de mooie wandelpaden. De ochtendduiken waren heerlijk verfrissend en gaven een energieke start.
Het huisje zelf is sfeervol, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vooral het vuurkacheltje maakte het extra knus; perfect om ’s avonds bij te lezen en tot rust te komen. Ik heb hier niet alleen heerlijk gewandeld, maar ook muziek gemaakt en gecomponeerd. De stilte en ruimte werken echt inspirerend.
Yka is een ontzettend gastvrije en warme host, waardoor je je meteen welkom en op je gemak voelt.
