Nature house in Großbreitenbach

The house is unfortunately getting on in years and needs some refurbishment. The furnishings are good (except for the very hard sofa) and the kitchen is well equipped. There are fly screens in the bedrooms, which is great. The landlords are friendly and careful. Unfortunately, there are no hiking trails on site where you could start. Parking for the car is only possible by crossing the busy road within a bend. There are shopping facilities about 2.5 km away. You can do a lot in the area.

Das Haus ist leider in die Jahre gekommen und bedürfte einiger Sanierungen.
Einrichtung ist gut (bis auf das sehr harte Sofa), die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. In den Schlafzimmern sind Fliegengitter angebracht, das ist prima.
Die Vermieter sind freundlich und umsichtig.
Leider gibt es vor Ort keine Wanderwege, wo man starten könnte.
Der Parkplatz für das Auto, ist nur per Überqueren der gut befahrenen Straße innerhalb einer Kurve, möglich.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in ca 2,5 km Entfernung.
Man kann viel in der Umgebung unternehmen.

We were put off by the reception in a run-down building. Once inside, we realized that it wasn't really heated. The hallway was freezing cold. The heating control is no longer acceptable by today's standards, there is a thermostat that controls all the heating in the house and it was in the living room. The rooms are relatively well equipped, but you get the feeling that once they were built and furnished, nothing was ever changed again. Unfortunately, the apartment did not necessarily correspond to our sense of cleanliness. The kitchen utensils were partly dirty, the drain in the shower was dirty and the corners were not cleaned properly. We were also put off by a note on which all the dishes were meticulously listed with the corresponding price list (in case of breakage). The location is really great. The whole resort would be a gem if they would finally put some money into renovating these houses. Too bad, too bad!

Schon der Empfang in einem durchaus heruntergekommenen Gebäude hat uns abgeschreckt. Im Haus angelangt, stellten wir fest, dass es nicht wirklich aufgeheizt war. Der Flur war eisig kalt. Die Regelung der Heizung ist nach heutigen Maßstäben gar nicht mehr zulässig, ein Thermostat nach der sich die gesamte Heizung im Haus richtet und die befand sich im Wohnzimmer. Die Zimmer sind zwar relativ gut ausgestattet, allerdings hat man das Gefühl, einmal errichtet und eingerichtet und dann wurde nie wieder etwas an der Einrichtung verändert. Leider entsprach die Wohnung nicht unbedingt unserem Sauberkeitsempfinden. Die Küchengerätschaften waren teilweise verschmutzt, der Abfluss in der Dusche verdreckt, auch in den Ecken war nicht richtig geputzt. Abschreckend war zudem ein Zettel, auf dem peinlich genau alles Geschirr mit dazugehöriger Preisliste (bei Bruch) aufgelistet war. Die Lage ist echt top. Die gesamte Ferienanlage wäre ein Schmuckstück, wenn man endlich mal wieder Geld in die Hand nehmen würde, um diese Häuser grundzusanieren. Schade, schade!!

Top Lage mitten im Wald gelegen, ein Bächlein fließt direkt neben der Ferienanlage entlang. Die gesamte Ferienanlage wäre ein Schmuckstück, wenn man endlich mal wieder Geld in die Hand nehmen würde, um diese Häuser grundzusanieren. Schade, schade!!
