Nature house in Montjaux

The house is an old renovated house, a combination of modern and classic. It stands on a farm where sheep and cows are still kept. The neighbors are very friendly. The living room and kitchen open onto the garden which grants sufficient privacy. In the garden there are some herbs and a fig tree. The garden has a wide view. There are several bathrooms and a bath. On the second floor is a library/study. Please note, no internet available and the fireplace in the picture is not functional!

From the house you can go hiking through woods and fields where there is plenty to discover (for those who look carefully include dolmens, stone shepherds' houses and stone shepherds' lookouts). One can swim in the tarn for refreshment (15-20min drive). Simple shopping can be done in nearby villages (Montjaux (10min drive) and Saint-Rome de Tarn (15-20min drive). And for those who want to drive further, Millau and Saint-Affrique offer more. Because Millau is fairly touristy, there is plenty to do in the area (paragliding, kayaking, via ferattas, climbing, vulture watching, caves de roquefort, etc).
