A rural nature house in Hoek near Terneuzen, Zeeland. Stay overnight in a former cowshed, recently converted into a detached, luxury private cottage. Enjoy space and freedom in green surroundings. Our cottage has two bedrooms, a kitchenette equipped with all amenities: combi-oven, kettle, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a fridge + freezer and dishwasher. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with rain shower and hand shower. There are two toilets: downstairs and upstairs, a large garden with terrace, several seating areas and play equipment for children with beautiful views of the orchard. Air conditioning and insect screens both upstairs and downstairs. Suitable for 2 or 3 adults or family with max. 3 children. Not suitable for two couples! Prices are excluding tourist tax of € 1.80 p.p/night (mandatory booking). Towels, kitchen towels and bed linen are provided.
Nature and surroundings
The B&B is located in the yard of a small farm, in a rural and polder-rich area just a few kilometers from the Belgian border. From our accommodation you look straight over the polders and our orchard with standard fruit trees. In the immediate vicinity of our B&B there are numerous hiking and cycling routes and a beautiful nature reserve: the Braakman. Other nature reserves, which are really worth seeing, such as the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe or the Verdronken Zwarte Polder and the Zwin are also all in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The old fishing village of Philippine, known for its delicious Zeeland mussels, is just a stone's throw away. Because of its central location, our nature house is the perfect base for various activities and fun trips in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and just across the border in Belgium. We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful cottage! Fully equipped, cozy and spotlessly clean! The children had a great time outside and thanks to the many seats you can sit all day in the sun. Even with less weather there is plenty to do inside for adults and children! Even though the cottage is next to the main house we had complete privacy. Ireen and Nina are super friendly and welcoming. We received an extensive tour with explanations upon entering, very nice with all the brand new equipment. And also delicious cookies, our vacation could begin immediately! Absolutely recommended, this fine place near many beautiful places in Zeeland. If we go to Zeeland again, we will definitely come back!
We hebben een paar heerlijke dagen gehad in dit prachtige huisje! Van alle gemakken voorzien, sfeervol en brandschoon! De kinderen hebben zich ontzettend goed vermaakt buiten en dankzij de vele zitjes kan je de hele dag door in het zonnetje zitten. Ook bij minder weer is er binnen genoeg te doen voor volwassenen en kinderen! Ondanks dat het huisje naast de hoofdwoning staat hadden we alle privacy. Ireen en Nina zijn supervriendelijk en gastvrij. We kregen bij binnenkomst een uitgebreide rondleiding met uitleg, heel fijn met alle gloednieuwe apparatuur. En daarbij ook nog lekkere koekjes, onze vakantie kon direct beginnen!
