Here in the Achterhoek, we know a thing or two about coziness. A charming, very luxurious detached cottage is waiting for you—complete with a sauna and hot tub. We’ll take care of everything, providing you with a spotlessly clean and immaculate home. Everything you need is here: from towels to toilet paper. We’ve made up the beds. Just grab a nice cup of coffee (from the drip coffee maker), and your vacation can begin. The drive to the Achterhoek is beautiful in itself, but once you’re here, the peace and quiet set in, and a stunning home awaits you in a gorgeous corner of the Achterhoek region of the Netherlands. If you’ve booked the hot tub, we’ll make sure it’s completely filled with fresh, clean water. If you’d like us to heat up the hot tub for you in advance, we’d be happy to do so. Just book the Deluxe Wellness check-in option.... We’ll warm up the hot tub just right for you (initial heating time: 4 hours), so you can jump right in as soon as you arrive. We also have 2 bikes available for rent. Book them as an add-on. Ask about our late check-out option. That way, you can sleep in just a little longer.

Be sure to head to the peatlands via the medieval town of Bredevoort. Or to the Wooldse forests. This Natura 2000 area is known for its fantastic fishing spots and natural beauty. You’ll never tire of this charming corner of the Netherlands. Our cottage is located on the edge of the Loohuisbos. A short walk through this forest will take you to the charming center of Aalten. There you’ll find cozy cafes, an impressive museum, and a full range of shops. Want more shopping options? We’re right on the border—you’ll be in Bocholt in no time. It’s great for filling up on gas and shopping on a budget. Our sauna is wonderful. You’re welcome to enjoy one full sauna session (1 hour) every day. Looking for a professional sauna complex?
