The cottage is located on the second floor and was inhabited in the 15th century by the famous painter Lorenzo di Pietro, known as Vecchietta. The apartment has been renovated in rustic Tuscan style, respecting the ancient tradition, softened by some elegant touches. It has one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. From Poggiolo's windows you can enjoy a beautiful view of the roof garden of the main villa with its roses and lemon trees: the so-called "Italian-style roof garden." The house is equipped with everything you need: linens, cutlery, hair dryer, dish soap and shower gel. In the kitchen you will find a bottle of our organic Chianti wine as a gift for choosing us.
Nature and surroundings
The tranquility of the apartment and the proximity to Siena make Poggiolo an ideal destination for a relaxing and cultural vacation. You will have access to most of the estate and can enjoy the grounds while sipping a glass of our organic Chianti wine. You can buy wine, oil and vinsanto produced in Certano by contacting the Front Desk. Or you can check out the La Buca delle Fate store near the Front Desk.

• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund
