The nature house is a fully renovated 1800's contemporary house located on the village square of the small and quiet mountain village of Nohèdes at 1.000 meters altitude in the French Pyrenées Orientales. It is located at just over an hours drive from the Mediterranean Sea and only some 3 hours from the city center of Barcelona. The house has been designed with a very open concept living room and kitchen and has two large comfortable bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom.At the rear side of the house there is a sunny courtyard, great for peaceful relaxation. = Due to the location of the house we kindly ask our guests to respect the peace and quiet of the village =
Nature and surroundings
Nohèdes is located in the 'Catalan Pyrenées Natural Park' and borders the 'Nohèdes Natural Reserve', The house is a great starting point for day hiking to the three mountain lakes higher up in our valley, for mountainbiking, canyoning, taking 'le petit train jaune', visiting the 'Gorges de Carança' , enjoying the spa's or visiting the old Roman-Greek seaside town of Coulioure and the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea or any of the many historical towns and villages in the area.
