The nature house is part of a quiet and small campsite. The cottage itself is cozy and has a rural feel, can accommodate four people and has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a double bed with its own sink. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed for two people (two children or young adults, you can also sleep on it as an adult but it is less comfortable) and has its own sink. The cottage is fully equipped (kettle, TV, dolce gusto, crockery, sandwich iron, microwave etc.) You have access to a private driveway and WiFi. The cycling and hiking node routes pass in front of the door. For both adults and children there is plenty to do in the area. The cottage is located near the beach and a large surf center. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and nearby!
Nature and surroundings
Together with 't Roegwold, the Schildmeer forms a varied nature reserve. The area is characterized by an alternation of open water, grasslands, marshes, rugged nature, tranquility and panoramic views. A large part of the area is grazed by Hereford cows, Groninger blister heads and sheep. Thanks to the extensive network of biking and hiking trails, you can see and experience nature and be completely immersed in it. Consider a 17 km round trip around Schildmeer.
