Welcome to our authentic Buggenhout gypsy caravan from the 1950s. The caravan is in original atmosphere and comfortably furnished for two people, equipped with fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove, running water, electricity and can be heated with a gas stove. The caravan is in a sheltered spot at the back of the yard at our small-scale, mixed farm 'De Hommelhoeve'. You overlook the beginning of the garden where delicious seasonal vegetables grow and the meadows where our Brand red cattle graze. The shower and toilet truck is at the front of the yard. We are in the process of building the farm business so lots of things are happening. However, there is still a lot to be done, so we recommend bringing or borrowing waterproof boots from us in wet weather. In the caravan there is a comfortable double bed and there are two slightly less comfortable sleeping places on the sofas in the living room. Next to the wagon is enough space to place an additional tent.

In the small-scale coulisse landscape in the IJssel Valley, between the IJssel and the Veluwe is our small-scale farm. From the trailer you look out on the lands around the farm. The meadows, grain fields and orchards are bordered by bushes, hedges, canals and hedgerows through which a footpath winds. Recharge and recharge can be undisturbed here, living with the seasons and enjoying farm life, a bit like the old days. Walking past the green of the trees and thickets, the colorful flowers and beautiful vegetables in the vegetable garden, the herd of cows with their calves, the chickens and hen with chicks, the sweet dog and a very cuddly cat. You can watch the sun go down from the trailer and walk around on the path through the thickets and bushes surrounding the fields and meadows. The Empese and Tonden heath is at the end of the street. The Hanseatic cities of Zutphen, Deventer and Doesburg are within biking distance via beautiful routes.
